I just finished “The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication” and wow, that was an experience. It’s a first-person horror game, and let me tell you, it delivers. You play as different characters, all stuck in this creepy university crawling with ghosts.
The puzzles were neat! Not too hard, not too easy, but they definitely made you think. Like, there was this one with these statues that had me stumped for a while, but figuring it out felt great.

The story itself was alright. It wasn’t super deep, but it kept me wanting to know what happened next. Plus, there were some genuinely surprising twists that threw me for a loop. The characters were a bit forgettable, but they did the job of moving the story forward.
Speaking of moving forward, let’s talk scares. This game had me jumping out of my skin more than once. They weren’t just cheap jump scares either, you know, the kind where something loud pops out at you. These scares built tension, and then BAM! Ghost in your face. There was even this one boss fight that was incredible. It was scary, challenging, and just plain cool. I actually beat the game just to play that fight again!

The whole game had this feeling of dread hanging over it. It was way creepier than the first Bridge Curse game. This one really nailed the spooky atmosphere. The music and sound effects were perfect, too. Everything worked together to make you feel like you were trapped in this haunted nightmare.
Now, the game wasn’t perfect. The voice acting, especially for one character named A-Hi, was a bit off. She’d just keep talking over herself, which was annoying. But honestly, that’s a pretty minor complaint.

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication: Overall, I really enjoyed "The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication." It's a solid horror game with good scares, decent puzzles, and a creepy atmosphere. If you're looking for a good fright, check it out. Just maybe don't play it alone at night… – Tom Henry
The game is on the shorter side, I finished it in about 6 hours. And it works very well on Steam Deck.
