Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip: Review

You play as Terry, a kid with a dream – to blast off into space in his own car! Now, most people might try joining NASA or something, but Terry has a simpler plan: build a super-duper turbo and zoom straight up the big tower in town.

The game starts with you “applying” for a taxi job, just to get your hands on a car (don’t worry, you don’t actually have to drive anyone around). From there, it’s all about exploring the quirky city and collecting stuff.

This city is something else. It’s kinda like a playground with no rules. Cars crash all over the place, and sometimes people just stand around doing nothing. It’s a bit confusing at first, but that’s part of the fun. You just gotta wander around and see what you find.

Speaking of finding stuff, there are two main things you need: Turbo Junk and money. Turbo Junk is like magic space fuel for your car, and you’ll need tons of it to reach the stars. Money lets you buy cool stuff like a shovel to dig up more junk, or a hang glider to reach new areas. Smashing boxes and stuff is a good way to get both junk and cash, so keep your eyes peeled!

The best part of the game, though? The humor! It’s all over the place, from goofy characters saying funny things to totally unexpected situations. Like the guy on the beach who keeps sunbathing even when he’s literally on fire! It’s like a slapstick cartoon mixed with a crazy adventure, and it made me laugh out loud more than once.

Now, here’s the thing: the game is pretty short. It only took me a couple of hours to gather enough junk and blast off. Some people might like a longer adventure, but for me, it was the perfect length. Plus, there’s so much to see and do in the city that you won’t feel rushed.
