(Vaan’s Treasure Quest – Nel’Vari)
After venturing deep into the magical world of Nel’Vari, most players in Sun Haven will reach the pivotal moment when they meet the World Dragon. From there, you’re given a series of tasks—one of which is to infuse the mana conduits scattered across the land.
Once you’ve completed that part with no trouble, Vaan, the mysterious elf, sends you on a new challenge: finding a hidden item as part of the Vaan’s Treasure quest. And this time, the solution isn’t as obvious.
Not all players manage to find this item on their own—so here’s exactly where to look.
📍 Where to Find Vaan’s Hidden Item in Sun Haven
🗺️ Location:
The hidden item is located right at the entrance to Nel’Vari, where you first encountered the two guardian trees during your initial visit. This is the same area where you had to infuse one of the trees to gain access to the elven city.
💡 Tip: You’ll need to exit Nel’Vari and return to the surrounding forest to find the item.
🧭 Step-by-Step Directions:
- Exit Nel’Vari by heading southwest, past the bridge and the elven traders.
- As soon as you’re back in the forest, begin moving left (west).
- Keep an eye out: on the ground nearby, you’ll spot a poster of a city lying in the grass.
- Interact with the poster to collect the hidden item.
🎯 You should see the item almost immediately after entering the forest—it’s not far from the town’s edge.

After collecting the hidden item:
- Return to Vaan to complete this part of the main questline.
- This finishes the second task assigned by the World Dragon.
